The claims of the General Labourers’ Union for men working within a radius of 90 miles of Wellington came before the Arbitration Court (His Honour Mr. Justice Frazer and Messrs. W. Scott and A. L. Monteith) on Saturday. Mr. J. Nf. Campbell appeared for the union and Mr. W. Grenfell for the employers. The claims had been settled except those for wages and some minor matters. Mr. Campbell called evidence in support of the claims, and then addressed the Court at considerable length in support of his case. Mr. W.
