G. S. BRIGHT INJURED. Tho record amateur cycle road race of tho season was held on Saturday afternoon, over a 20-miJe course, starting from the Petone Rowing Club’s sheds. Bright was unfortunate in colliding with a spectator at the finishing post, crashing heavily and sustaining head injuries which necessitated his removal to the hospital, where he was found to bo suffering from concussion. He regained consciousness yesterday morning, and is progressing favourably.
