CHURCH SERVICES

Dr. Gibb will conduct both services in St. John’s Church to-morrow. In view of tho close of his ministry the following Sunday, tho children of tho Presbyterian Orphanages alid the-girls of Queen Margaret College, and the boys of Scots College will attend the morning service. The theme of tho evening sermon is "Not Ashamed of Christ.” St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Charch services will be conducted to-morrow by Rev. Lcudrick McMaster, who will preach in the morning on “The Patience of Jesus.” and in the evening on "Which is the True Church?” In tho Vivian Street Baptist Church the Rev. F. E. Harry will be the preacher to-morrow. In the morning hie subject will be " The Worship God Loves,” and in the evening he will preach on "Two Are Better Titan One, But Three Are Better Still.” The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at the Church of St. Alban. 19 Marion Street, on Sunday at 11 a.m. The subject of file fernion is ‘Being Human." The Maranatha message will be found on page <l. At tho Taranaki Street Wesley Church the Bev. T. W. Vealio will preach at the 11a.m. service to-morrow, while at the evening service Mr. Mac Diarmid, of the Sudan Mission, will deliver the address. There will be an anthem at the latter service. Mr. Mac Diarmid will also deliver a lantern lecture at 7.45 p.m. on Wednesday in the institute building of tho church. A Christa-delphiau meeting will be held at 7 p.m. to-morrow In the Victoria Hall. Adelaide Road, when the subject of the address will bo "The March With a Divino Ruler, God’s Promoted Inheritance.” Mr. J. Moore, missioner, will conduct services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Sailors’ Friend Society Church and Institute. The subjects of nis address will be respectively. "Yes—No” and "When Will the World Come to an End." There will also be' a song service at 8.30 p.m. In Ute 8.A.0.8. Hall, Tory Street, at 7 p.m. to-morrow, the Helping Hand Unsectariau Mission will hold a Gospel service at which tho speaker is to be Mr. E. Copeland. Tho minister, tho Rev. Earnest R. Weeks, will preach in both tho morning and evening at t-he Terrace Congregational Church. The anthem in the morning will be "I. will Lift Lip Mine Eyes” (Whitlleld). After a short evening service "The Crucifixion” will be given by the choir, in order that it may be broadcast. The soloists will be Messrs. Lcn Barnes, A. Cce, and Gough.
