FEILDING ITEMS
> Feilding, April 9. Mrs. G. Roberts, a guest of Mrs. E. G. England, of Waituna West, tripped over a concrete step, on Wednesday, and split her leg open above the knee. She was conveyed to Feilding where Dr. Phillips attended to her. On Saturday afternoon the Feuding Amateur Athultic Club will hold their annual sports fixture which will mark the closing of the season. The programme will comprise four fiat 100 yards, 220 yards, BSO yards, and two mile handicaps, A considerable number of nominations have been received. Mr. George Kingston has returned to Feilding after having spent a holiday at Hamilton. ‘ , Mr Norman Shelton, who was injured in a motor accident, on Tuesday last, is making satisfactory progress at the Palmerston North Hospital.
