Sift baking powder into Duryea’s Maizena and flour. Add creamed mixture alternately with sifted dry ingredients into the milk. Flavour with one teaspoon lemon or vanilla flavour- 1 ing and turn in the whites of eggs, beaten stiff. Bake in [ j layer tins. ; > DROP CAKES H 3 ounces butter 8 ounces sugar 4 eggs / 7 ounces flour 1 ounce Duryea’s Maizena Cream together butter and sugar. Add the eggs, yolks |; and whites beaten separately. Beat well and add the flour H and Duryea’s Maizena previously sifted together, and fla- h vour to taste.
