SOUTH AFRICAN PRECAUTIONS. Cape Town, March 26. The Government, in the face of determined opposition, inchiding Labour, carried a clause empowering the Minister of Justice to deport anyone not born in 'South Africa for any offence under the insolvency law. Three Labour Ministers were absent. To-day the Prevention of Disorders Bill was published. It also empowers deportation after conviction for sedition, and compels natives, _ after conviction, to reside in certain areas.— Svdnev “Sun” Cable.
