FOUNDATION-STONE laid. By TrtLEGRAITt. —PnESS ASSOCIATION. Hastings, March 27. The foundation-stone of the main block of the new buildings of the le Ante Maori College was laid to-day by His Excellency the Governor-General (Sir Charles Fergusson) in the. presence of a gathering representative .of both races in the Hawke’ Bay. The new building will comprise an assembly hall and' administration department, with the dormitories on. the second floor. The religious portion of the cercmonv was conducted bt' the Bishop of Waiapu, assisted by a large number 'of the diocesan clergy.
