MR. F. GOLDBERG FAREWELLED
On Thursday night the Goldberg Adverrising Agency, Ltd., entertained Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg to dinner in order to bid au revoir to Mr. Goldberg, who is leaving “’for & world tour on Ai-ril 1. In presenting Mr. Goldberg, on behalf of the executives and staff, with a deed box and illuminated address, Mr. A. D. Paisley, general manager, reviewed the growth of the organisation since its inception. In 1924 the London office was opened thus forming a direct link between British clients and New Zealand. In 1925 another step was taken when the branch was opened in Sydney. He extended to Mr. Goldberg every good wish from the members of the staff for a successful business trip and a safe re. turn to New Zealand. Miss L O. Smith presented Mrs. Goldberc- with a basket of flowers, and the toast of “Our Chief’’ was given with musical honours. In replying, Mr. Goldberg expressed appreciation of the sentiments expressed by Mr. Paisley. The gathering then adjourned to the Grafton Club, and a pleasant dance was held by members and their friends. During the evening songs were contributed by Miss V.' Jones. Miss A. Pederson, Mrs. Curtis. Mr. Proctor ■and Mr. Cousins. Miss McNair and Mr. Woods officiated at the piano. The ilium, inated address presented to Mr. Goldberp was a piece of work executed by the Goldberg Art Studio.
