DWELLING BURNED
INTERIOR BADLY BUTTED. Palmerston North, March 26. Another fire occurred at Palmerston North iu the early hours of this morning, when the dwelling of Mr F A. Phelan was badlv’damaged. The dwell ing, a five-roomed bungalow owned by Mr J. Fletcher, is situated in Burke Street. Considerable damage was done before the fire was under control Mr. Phelan, who had onlv returned from the seaside a few hours previously, was alone in the house, and. awoke to find his roo menveloped in smoke, lhe furniture was cove-red by insurance.
