POLICE AND CIVIL CASES Mr. E. Page, S.M., dealt with the police cases in the Magistrate s Court yesterdav • For a" second offence of drunkenness, James Maddock was fined XL Pleading guilty to a third offence oi drunkenness, Thomas Hughes was convicted and fined XI, the amount of ins bail , . William Bruce was fined 10s. for a second offence of drunkenness.
