CASES AT CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association Christchurch, February 12. In the Supreme Court to-day Alfred Lewis was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment by Mr.. Justice Adams for . having carnal knowledge of a girl under 16. ' For indecent assault on a child six , years of age, William Lawson was sen- -■ fenced to five years’ imprisonment. Three young men were convicted of breaking and entering. Charles Stanley James Bell was sentenced to reformative treatment for a period not exceeding two years. Dennis McGonagle Blake was similarly dealt with on one charge and was sentenced to five - years’ reformative treatment on each of two other charges, the sentences to be concurrent. Fred. Logie was sentenced to reformative treatment for a period not exceeding five years.
