Everyone expected to see it immediately electrocuted, but nothing of the kind occurred. “Cocky” rather liked its new perch, which it did not leave until the rush of a trolly-head beneath its feet made it fly to an adjacent window ledge. Here another man clambered along the veranda, and ttie parrot, with a “what’s-thc-use” expression, gave itself into custody.
