OBSERVATION CAR IN PALMERSTON
4 “Dominion” Special. Palmerston North, February 15. As the result of an application for permission to run an observation car, commencing from the Bank of New Zealand corner, the'Transit Committee recommended to to-night’s meeting of the Borough Council that permission be granted Councillor M. A. Eliott said that the <.ar would be a very good thing for the town, while Councillor M. H. Oram said that it would be of particular benefit to visitors. After discussion about the starting place, it was decided to adopt the recommendation.
