The Rotorua meeting was continued to-day in magnificent weather. Ihe course was in good order, and the attendance was large. Results.

TARAWERA HURDLES HANDICAP of 100 sovs. About one mile and a ha’lf—Bright Light, 1; Mahgoloire, o. Irish Jig, 3. All started. Won by four lengths, third h ors ® two lengths back. Time, 2mm. 46 4-ssec.

ELECTRIC HANDICAP, of 100 sovs. Six furlongs—Blue Sky, 1; Kingfield, 2- Ladv Varco, 3. Also started: Dress Circle Some Lad, Cantab, Glen Abbey, Te Waka, Royal blight Te Rangi, Lauy Swift Milley, Abbey, Native Girl,. High Rose.’ Won by half a length, third horse a neck away, lime, Imm. 16 3-j sec.

PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP, of 200 sove. One mile.

OHINEMUTU HACK CUP, of 100 sovs. Seven furlongs and 80 yards.— Hangawera, 1; Golden Autumn, 2; Star of the East, 3. Also started: Qmncoma Hokioi, Waltzer, Monday, Zanna, Merrv Aim, Danae, Gohlen Krist, Last Watch. Won by a neck, third horse three-quarters of a length away. Time, lmin. 33 3-ssec.

BdROUGH HANDICAP, of 150 sovs. Seven furlongs and 80 yards.—Joy Ride, 1; Mosaic and Miss Vera, dead heat, 2. Also started: Loyal Irish, Tinopono. Won by a length. Time, lmin. 31 3-5 sec.

FAREWELL HANDICAP, of 100 sovs. Six furlongs.—Exactly, 1; Ripon Abbey, 2; Air Queen, 3. Also started: Dav Guard, Loch Abbey. Won by three-quarters of a length, third horse half a length back. Time, lmin. 15 l-ssec.

During the presentation of the cup to Mr. S. G. Dobson, the owner of Hangawera, by Mr. Hockly, a geyser sent up a glorious shot at the edge of the lake ill full view of the spectators. The donors of the cup, the Ngatawakaue tribe, named it the Hangawera Gevser. [The weights for the second day s events have not been telegraphed.]
