House, unfinished; Adamson, a bye. VETERANS’ DAY TO-DAY. This afternoon, on the Wellington Bowling Club’s picturesque green, the anhual veterans’ day will be observed. The president of the centre (Mr. S. M. Stone has presented gold medals to the winners of a rink match, to be played only by bowlers of 70 years of age or over. Quite a large number of seasoned bowlers have entered (including a rink of Scottish-Britishers, members of the team from the Old Country). All bowlers and their lady friends were cordially invited to attend. The draw will be made on the green. CHAMPION SINGLES.

The champion singles of the Wellington Centre will be played on the Victoria Club’s green to-morrow, commencing at 9 a.m. The following is the draw for the first round.:—
