Over two thousand people visited the show grounds on Sunday and witnessed a spectacular exhibition- of marching and playing by the Municipal Band, which is to proceed to the annual contest at Dunedin in, a few days’ time. The performances met with prolonged applause from the spectators, the marching and manoeuvres being exceptionally well carried out.
