MOTOR TRAFFIC
NEW PARKING PLACES At last night’s nieetin’g of the City Council it was decided to create motor parking places at the following streets: Jervois Quay, alongside power-house and Messrs. John Chambers, Limited; Cable Street, opposite Messrs. John Chambers, Limited, for private cars. Customhouse Quay, along the wharf for private cars and horse-drawn vehicles. Private Cars: Ghuznee Street, along St. Peter’s Church, for private cars. A motor express stand is to be created in Lower Taranaki Street, with the use of Cable Street as a feeder.
