STIMULUS TO GERMAN MANUFACTURERS Berlin, February 10. A correspondent of “Fairchild’s Textile Bulletin” states that the appearance of Italian artificial wool has stimulated the German "Rayon” manufacturers to evolve a superior fibre. In "Glanzstoff Fabriken” they are reported to have produced what thev call “vl” yarn, upon which the Danlem Textile Laboratory has reported favourably for warmth, tensile strength, and elasticity It is special!' suited to light woven nnderwea’-.—Aus.-N.Z.
