ACCIDENTAL DEATH

The Coroner (Mr. E. Page, S.M.) returned a verdick of accidental death yesterday in the case of Ernest. Archibald Liddc’-oat, a labourer (aged -KI), who died at the Wellington Hospital on Monday last as tho result of being' struck by a fall of earth that morning, while loading a dray in Murphy's brickyards, whore he. was employed. The., deceased, who was a married man, resided with his wife and three children at 49 Wilson Street. ./

THE NEW PRINCESS. To-day commences the final week’s season, and special representation of the famous Victor. Hugo jclass'ic, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” at the New Princess Theatre. The supporting programme is well selected, including it new “Leather Pusher” story, “Big Boy Blue,” a. good comedy, “Kidding Katie,” and a Gazette. At all evening sessions (ho New Princess orchestra will render appropriate music. ARTCRAFT THEATRE. For three nights only, commencing to-night at 7.-15. "The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” one of the biggest screen dramas ever made, will lie exhibited at the Artcraft Theatre. The cast numbers over three thousand, including Patsy Ruth Miller. Ernest Torrence, Brandon Hurst, Winifred Bryson, Kate Lester, Tully Marshall, Jane Sherman, Harry Van' Meter, Gladys Johnston, Raymond Hatton, and Nick do Ruiz. Special music has been prepared by Mr. James Haydock. The second episode of "The Riddle Rider” will be screened at tho marines to-morrow.
