The services of at least one member of the British bowling team, aptr from his geen duties, were commandeered whilet the visitors were in Dunedin. There was eome little difficulty in securing a judge of textiles who would be quite unbiassed, when it was discovered that Mr. Geo. Hunter, of Gahshtole, was an expert in that direction. He consented to act, and has made his award and written his report during his stay in Wellington.
