MEDALS AWARDED
RESCUERS OF ANTINOE’S CREW London, February 3. The King has awarded the Lifesaving Society’s gold medals to the following members of the American liner President Roosevelt’s crew who took part in the rescue of the crew of the disabled steamer Antinoe:—Chief Officer Miller, Third Officer Sloan, Fourth Officer Upton, and fifteen of the crew. Gold medals are also awarded posthumously to the relatives of the two seamen who lost their lives, Wirtanen and Heitman.
