MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE
ACCIDENT ON EVANS BAY ROAD,
At about 11 p.m. on Wednesday a collision occurred on the Evans Bay Road, near Balena Bay, between a five-seater car, driven by J. Eastwood, of Porirua, and a three-seater car driven by Richard Stanley Bagby, horse-trainer of Woodville. Eastwood had with him as passengers, Miss Annie Donaldson and Mrs. Julius, of Tawa Flat. Bagby’s passengers were Alfred Creamer, clerk, of Sydney, Miss Lilly McGavin, of Dunedin, and Miss Ailsa McCombe, of Christchurch. As a result of the accident Mrs. Julius wa? removed to the hospital suffering from head and leg injuries; the others escaped with slight injuries. Both cars were severely damaged. ——'
