ACCIDENTS
At about 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon Peter Foot, aged 11, of 534 Evans Bay Road, was riding his bicycle along the Evans Bay Road, Kilbirnic, when the forks broke, and the lad was thrown off. He was admitted to the hospital, at 5.20 p.m. suffering from head injuries, which are stated to be not serious. Joseph Hampton, aged 40, of 8 Webb Street, was working on the Maunganui yesterday morning when he was struck on the head by a stack of cargo. The injured man was admitted to the hospital at 10 a.m. ... Minnie Julius, aged 22, married, of Tawa Flat, received slight head and. arm injuries as a result of a motor accident which occurred early yesterday morning. She was admitted to the hospital at 2.30 a.m. . . Joan Jeffrey, 4 years of age, of 11 Wilson Street, was knocked down by a motor-car at about noon yesterday, and was admitted to the hospital suffering from injuries to the head.
