DEFEATING "WHITE AUSTRALIA”
POLICY.
Dtelbourne, January 20.
Following the report of a detective appointed bv the Federal Government to inquire into the alleged smuggling of Chinese into the Common wealth wit,i the purpose of defeating the "White Australia” policy in pursuance of the tenets of a secret society with branches nt Hong-Kono and Darwin, the Government has decided to take certain action, the nature of which is not disclosed. Although the result of the detective s investigations is kent secret, it is known that two suspected persons have been deported from Hon—-Kone, and that the organisation’s headquarters is in HongKong.—Press Assn.
