The death occurred last night (states a Press Association message from Gisborne), of Mr. Vincent Pyke, seventyeight years of age, a well-known bank manager, ivho some years ago, retir’d from the service of the Bank of New Zealand. He was a son of the late Vincent Pyke, M.P. Deceased was stationed for‘some years at places in the South Island, including Rakaia and Gore, and was for many years manager at Gisborne.
