PARIS EXHIBITION
LARGE NET PROFIT SHOWN CONTRAST TO WEMBLEY Paris, January 14. In contrast to Wembley, last summer’s exhibition of decorative arts has handsomely rewarded promoters. The het profit, estimated at over a million franc, remains for distribution. The Paris Municipality states that after reimbursement of the city’s fifteen million francs subsidy, through the influx of visitors the exhibition has contributed to swelling the coffers of the municipality—which show an increase in revenue amounting to fifty millions during the exhibition, compared with the corresponding period of 1925. Previous exhibitions have invariably led to a deficit.—Reuter.
