Alexander, of No. 5 Angus Avenue, writes: —“Re the article in The Dominion on ancient coins. 1 have a large collection of same, which includes fifteen early Romann, dated .as far back at 700 8.C., among which is a penny of Alexander the Great, in perfect order and condition. I also have a full set of Kruger, including the ss. piece. I also have a Charles T maundy 3(1. piece, Elizabeth shilling. 1500 Queen Anne Is. and fid., and a Lion shilling, George TH two-shilling piece, also numerous copper coins, such as the halffarthing, twopenny piece (about a Jin. thick), and also Scotch coinage. I can give your friend "Spinks” prices of his William and Mary 3d. piece. If you care to view ,my collection, call at the above address.”
