EARLY ROMANS AND AN ALEXANDER THE GREAT. Mr. G. D. Alexander, of No. 5 Angus Avenue, writes: —“Re the article in •The Dominion on ancient coins, I have a large collection of same, which ineludes fifteen early Romans, dated far back at 700 8.C., among which is,a penny of Alexander the Great, in perfect order and condition. I Also have a full set of Kruger, including the ss. piece. I also have a Charles 1 maundy 3d. piece, Elizabeth shilling, 1500 Queen Anne Is. and 6d., and a Lion shilling, George 111 two-shilling piece, also numerous copper coins, such as the naiifarthing, twopenny piece (about a jm. thick), and also Scotch coinage. I can give your friend “Spinks” prices of his William and Mary 3d. pibcc. If you care to view my collection, call at tne above address.”
