FRENCH RUGBY
PROPOSED NEW ZEALAND TOUR
Correspondence between Mr. Wray, the N.Z. representative in London, and Mr. Rutherford, secretary of the French Rugby Union, in connection with the proposed tour of New Zealand in 192 i by a French team, was considered at last night’s meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union. It was disclosed that the tour of New Zealand would be contingent on the necessary military ioave of the members selected for the team being obtained. If it is possible to get together anything like a truly representative team the tour _ will probably eventuate. At present it is indefinite.
