FLOODS IN MEXICO
4 TWO THOUSAND LIVES LOST A THOUSAND FAMILIES HOMELESS (Rec. January 13, 7.15 p.m.) New York, January 12. A message from Nogales, Arizona, says that fully two thousand persons have lost their lives, and a thousand families are homeless, as a result of the recent floods in the State of Nayarit, Mexico, according to Mr. H. B. Mitcomb, president of the Southern Pacific Railway, on his return on Tuesday from Mexico.—Reuter.
