SEVERAL MEN BLOWN TO PIECES AFTER EXTINGUISHING A FIRE Br Telegraph.—Press Association Copyright. (Rec. January 14, 1.30 a.m.) Peking, January 13. An explosion in a pit at the Takamatsu Colliery, Northern Kyushu, resulted in one'fatality and several men were slightly injured. The fire was extinguished and sixteen miners and a number of rescuers re-entered the pit. A series of explosions occurred, and they were blown to pieces.—Reuter.
