Blenheim, December 26. Tha Wairau 11/gatta was held to-day in perfect weather. Star . (Wellington) had four starts and lour wins, aiiiicxing tho Youths’ Fours. Junior Fours, Jhuden Pairs nnd Junior Pairs, xlic M eliiimton I'lub rcpreseiitativcs win -the Single Sculls. Star showed svpcrjor oarsmanship and condition, and the victories they secured wore «ell eaineit. Tho Star Club’s crews in the v.< ions events wereA outlis’ I*ours: Cook, (str.), Williams 1.2), Dumbleton (3), ami Hislop (bow). Junior Fours: (str.), Dumbleton (3), AlcT,enn (.1. nnu Hislop (bow). Junior Pairs: Newton (str.) and AlcLean (bow). Alaiden Pairs: Cook (str.) and AVilliams (.bow). The AVollington Club’s repiesontafives in tho Single Sculls were West and Blight.
