Circles in close touch with the Russian Embassy (reports a Prague message) declare that it is certain, that Czecho-Slovakia will recognise feoviet Russia shortly.

The Austrian Government is preparing a new economic programme for the purpose of enabling the resumption of Free-trade.

It is semi-officially reported .that there will be a conference of the Little Entente at Ragusa shortly. It will deal with the relations of Austria and Hungary, the dynastic problem, the Security Pact, the relations with Russia at Poland, and disarmament.

The Pojie solemnly closed the Holy Year by building up the jubilee door opened on December 26 of. last year in the presence of Royal princes, Roman nobilitv, and princes of the Church. The ceremony was most elaborate.

A proclamation appoints January 53 as the date for the meeting of the new Federal Parliament, when new members will be sworn in. The proclamation further revokes the proclamation which proclaimed the existence of a serious industrial disturbance prejudicing the peace, order, and good government of the Commonwealth. The proceedings against Walsli and Johnson followed the issue of this proclamation.
