YACHT GOES ASHORE
LEAVING harbour for THE SOUNDS Mr. J. E. L. Cull’s yacht Mana, which left Wellington at about half-past 8 on Christmas live for the Sounds, went ashore in Chaffer’s Passage, on - the western side of the harbour entrance, about an hour later. Mr. Robertson’s launch, Tana, proceeded to the scene of the accident, and towed the yacht back to the Boat Harbour. No serious damage was done to the Diana, and she was placed on the slip and repaired during the week-end.
