.A benefit concert for Mrs. Williamson, mother Of a young man who was an usher nt the Grand Opera House, and who died recently.- only three months after the death of his father, will bo held at tho Grand Opera House on Saturday. November 28. The Rev. Fielden Taylor, Air. Bert Royle, nnd Air. 'Thomas Farrell are co-operating to make the entertainment. a success. Apart from the consideration of its good cause, the concert will be likely to at tract a large patronage. Tho cream of Wellington’s amateur talent, including the Port Nicholson Silver Band, will contribute to a most varied night’s entertainment. The theatre is being placed at tho disposal of the organisers free of rent, and it only remains for tho public io respond and Combine, charity with pleasure, for the desired end to bo attained.
