INCREASE IN SALARY SOUGHT

The executive of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association, which has been sitting in conference for the past week; waited upon the Postmaster-General (Hon. Sir James Parr) yesterday morning with a request that the maximum salary of the rank and file be increased proportionately with the increased cost of living. The deputation was attended by delegates from all over New Zealand.
