HOMING PIGEONS
The Pelone Homing, Club held its weekly race from Whangarci on Satur-g day last, a distance of 384 miles, for a* trophy donated by Mr. F. Cotton. The following were the results:—H. Hall’s blue chequer cock. Hurry On. flying tima LI hours 44 minutes. 1 ; P. Mexted’s. blue chequer hen. Daybreak, flying time' 16 hours 2 minutes. 2: J. Bolton’s blue chequer cock. Sunlight, flying time. 16 hours 15 minutes, 3; J. Ashton’s blue chequer lien, Set Sail, flying time 16 hours 33 minutes. 4; C- Culshaw'sLblue chequer lien. Hiippy, flying timjl 16 hours 50 minutes. 5. The next race, the last of the old bird season, will be from Pnrenga.
