WOULD-BE BRIDEGROOM’S BAD RECORD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, November 18. Eric Reginald Jackson, . alias Clive Okenfull, whose presence in Court recently automatically cancelled his nuptial ceremonv that morning in church, was to-day sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment with hard labour fdr attempting to obtain money by means of valueless cheques. The Magistrate said that accused had a bad record, there being convictions for similar offences, which appeared to be a particular game of his.
