Lino steamer Port Nicholson left Gisborne on Tuesday night for Auckland, where she is due early this morning to continue loading. The vessel will sail from Auckland on Saturday for Napier and Wellington. She is due here next Wednesday, and will sail finally from this port on November 28 for Havre, Antwerp, and London, via Panama. TREMATON DUE TO-MORROW. Nows was received yesterday that the A. and A. Line chartered steamer Trematon will now leave Napier at noon to-day for Wellington to continue discharge of her New York cargo. The vessel is duo here to-morrow morning. MAHANA AT SUVA. The Shaw. Suva at 6 p.m. on Tuesday from London. The vessel will leave Suva to-morrow afternoon for Auckland and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland on Wednesday next. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. The Canadian Spinner arrived at Panama at 9.30 p.m. on November 13 from Auckland. en route to New York, Boston, nnd Halifax. The vessel sailed from Auckland on October 16. OTAKI’S ALTERED ITINERARY. The Federal Company advise that the Otaki’s loading itinerary has again been changed. The vessel will leave Wellington to-morrow for Auckland and >) anganul roadstead. From the roadstead she is due back at Wellington on December 7, and will sail from here on December J for Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Avenmouth, and London. THE PORT DARWIN. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Darwin is due back at Wellington on Tuesday from Wanganui roadstead. She will sail finally from here next Wednesday for London, via Panama. THE CANADIAN EXPLORER. The Canadian Explorer arrived at Panama at 2 a.m. on November 14, en route from Montreal to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin.

MAIMOA FROM LIVERPOOL. In continuation of her voyage from Liverpool, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. s steamer Maimoa is to leave Newcastle on Tuesday for Auckland and Wellington. The vessel is due nt Auckland on November 29, and at Wellington about December 3. lONIC FROM LONDON. At 4.15 a.m. yesterday the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.’s liner lonic arrived in the stream from London and Southampton, via Colon, Panama Canal, and 1 itcairn Island. The vessel south (outer tee) Queens Wharf shortlj after 10 a.m. . The lonic loaded at London, and left at 3.5 p.m. on October 7. She was delayed some hours at Gravesend owing to a‘difficulty in securing a full crew, and did not arrive at Southampton until the morning of October 9. Passengers and mails were taken aboard, but, further delay, occurred in securing a full complement in the ship’s crew, and the liner did not sail from there until 7.4.2 p.m. on October 9. Fine to moderate weather marked the run to Colon, where the lonic arrived at G a.m. on October -a. The passengers enjoyed a run ashore wliue tlie ship coaled, and the voyage was resumed at 2 p.m. on the same date. The vessel negotiated Panama Canal without delav, and passed Balboa at 9.18 p.m. op October 25. Fine weather was experienced on entering the Pacific. The ship stopped off Pitcairn Island from' 4 p.m. till G p.m. on November 6. The weather continued* fine until last Saturday, when ’ the lonic ran into a south-westerly accompanied by high seas. The weather was so bad that the engines for a while slowed down to seven knots. Conditions improved on Tuesday morning until arrival. A female passenger and an A.B. died during the voyage. A tliiru-ctass passenger (Mrs. E. Brown, aged au years, booked for Auckland) succumbed to an attack of asthma, following severe seasickness, on October 26, at 6.20 a.ni. Iho interment took place at sea, the ship being hovc-to, and the burial service was read by Archdeacon # J. J u , J!’ At 8.45 o'clock on Tuesday night an A.B. named Donald Macdonald was found dead in his bunk. His death was quite unexpected as he had not complained of illhealth. The body was landed at Wellington yesterday, and an inquest will be held.
