In the report of tho death of Mr. Henry Cook, of Karori. in yesterday morning's issue, it was stated that Mrs. Cook . had predeceased 1 her husband. This ,was an error, as Mrs. Cook, who is 78 years of ago. is left to mourn her loss. 'Mr. and Mrs. Cook wore married in 1874, and celebrated their golden wedding last year. Nine men of tbe United States Coastguard steamer Morrill were drowned near Shelburne, Nova Scotia, when returning to the steamer in a small boat, which capsized in a storm which lashet the waters of the harbour, half a mi-e from shore —Reuter. 1
