NEW ZEALAND GREENSTONE
FOR BIG NEW YORK THEATRE. I In response to representations made by Mr. R. P. Davison, of the Famous Lasky Company, the officer in charge of the Publicity Department (Mr. J. Hislop) yesterday presented to the company a 1 very substantial piece of NeuZealand greenstone, which is to adorn the company’s big theatre in Broadway. New/ York. The company endeavoured to secure a piece of stone from, each of the sixty-two countries in which it is represented, and its representatives are well pleased with the piece that will go from New Zealand. The presentation ceremony was filmed in front of tho Government Buildings yesterday, when Mr. Davison and Mr. A. Terry (secretary) received the gift.
