MAGISTRATE’S COURT Mr. E. Page, S.M., presided in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Vitlml Morar, an Indian hawker, who was charged with stealing a rubber mat valued at £1 12s. Gd.. the property of Albert Heather, was' fined £4. Benjamin Riley, a cook, was convicted and discharged for being absent without leave, from tho s.s. Woodarra at Lyttelton. On a charge of drunkenness ho was fined 55., and for, using obscene language was fined £l. Overdue accounts specially attended to by Dominion Mercantile Agency, Union Bank Chambers, Wellington Ltd., the largest British Trade Protection Company in New Zealand. —Advt.
