DOMINION’S OUTLOOK
AS SEEN BY PRIME MINISTER New Zealand’s future prospects were briefly touched upon by the Prime Minister ’(Hon. J. G. Coates) in the House of Representatives .yesterday, when the valedictory speeches were being made. “May I refer to the outlook as lar as New Zealand is concerned,” said Mr. Coates. “The outlook is good, and so long as the people pull together as a people I am certain that wc can get the results whereby the. people will benefit. There is trouble on the horizon just at the moment, but I sincerely hope that better counsels will prevail, and that by reasonable methods and coniniousense action the trouble will be overcome. *’ Mr. Coates was of opinion that the session had been a useful one, and ill the broadest sense some useful legislation had been placed on the Statute Book. Parliament could be cqngratiilated on what it had done. The one big feature of the legislat an had the reality of being able to give assistance to those pioneers who had encountered difficulties and who had borne tlie “heat and burden of the day.
