The Wanganui police received news yesterday that William O’Rielly (aged 36) has been missing from his camp at Kerekau Downs, on the Wanganui River, since Tuesday last. He left the hut as his mates were retiring, and when he did not return they made a search. They found traces of a man haring fallen over the cliff on to a papa ledge and then into the river.—Press Assn.
