The Studebaker “duplex-phaeton” body, combining the advantages of open and closed car construction, has undoubtedly a very strong appeal for New Zealand motorists, and the demand has been in excess of the supply ever since the first of the new models were landed in this country a few weeks ago. “Standard Sixes”, of the new type have been in particularly strong request, and it is with pleasure that Messrs. Adams, Ltd., announce that thev have just received in Wellington a shipment of these cars, and that unpacking is now proceeding. Most of these cars are to fill orders, but a limited number has been reserved for immediate delivery to new purchasers. The price of these exceptionally handsome, powerful yet economical cars, with “duplex-phaeton” body, is £442. The cars now unpacking, are finished in Parisian red, for which an extra charge of £lO is made, and are equipped with spare tyre and tube, which is another £lO extra.
