DROWNING ACCIDENT
BATHER CAUGHT IN SWIFT CURRENT. Bl Telegkaph-—Press Association Rotorua, 23. A telephonic message from Taupo states that a young man. William Otto, employed at tlic Geyser Valley Hotel, Wairakei, while bathing yesterday with companions in the Waikato River, was caught in the swift current and swept away. His companions were powerless to assist. The hodv has not been recovered. It is understood that deceased s relatives reside at Newton. The police partv is searching the river below the rapids.
