ALBANIAN REVOLT
REBELS MARCHING UPON TIRANA MARTIAL LAW PROCLAIMED Bt Tsi.EGßAi’n— Press Azzzzzzzzzztz. COFYBIGHT. London, June 2. Reports from Albania, show that a force of six thousand rebels is marching upon Tirana. The rebels are in possession of field and machine guns, but are mostly undisciplined volunteers. The government is able t-6 meet them with three thousand armed regulars. A special danger exists in the reappearance of armed South Slavian and Greek bands upon the Albanian frontier. They are taking advantage of the unsettled conditions to invade Albania. The American Minister at Tirana has offered to refer the trouble to the League of Nations. Both sides have refused the offer. Martial law has been proclaimed throughout the country. Communication with Tirana is interrupted.—Sydney “Sun” Cable-
