FIGHTING IN MOROCCO
ADVANCE OF RIFFS STOPPED. (Rec. May 12, 8 p.m.) London, May 12. The Madrid correspondent of the “Daily Express” says there lias been heavy fighting in Morocco since Wednesday, when General Aizpuru, leading three coloumns consisting of 7000 men, made an important attempt to stop a Riff advance, which had made revictualling of the Swinish position most difficult. The Spaniards disloged tho Rifle.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
