HUTT CLUB BOGEY MATCH FOR BUTTON A bogey match for a silver button was played by the members of.the Lower Hutt Golf Club on Saturday. The weather held up well, but dropped in a black squall of hail and sleet just as the stragglers were coming in. The course was taxed to accommodate the competitors. The best cards read: —L. C. Ilemery (6), 2 up; C. W. D. Bell (11), R. V. McDowell (11), and J. L. Climie (3), all square; St. L. Reeves (14). and W. K. Andrew (14), 1 down; G. Dawson (3), T. Wagg (11),' and G. Cook (11), 3 down. KARORICLUB An exhibition of professional golf was given on the Karori links cn Saturday by A. J. Shaw, formerly of Christchurch, his driving being especially fine. The best returns in the bogey match were IV. D. Cooke (9), 2 up; A. McKenzie (8), 1 down. MIRAMAR CLUB A bogey match was played at Miramar on Saturday. There were 73 entries, and the latest players to come in were caught in the rain. The best cards were as follow: —W. G. Fisher (9), 1 up; Liddle (3), all square; L. D.
