PROPERTY SALES AT ISLAND BAY There was a large attendance at Island Bay on Saturday at the auction Bale of the freehold property of Mr. Henry A. Mac Kay. Mr. Levin, the auctioneer for Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co., obtained offers up to £1550. at which figure, the property was passed in, but there is a strong 'probability of the place being disposed of by private treaty this week. The auction was under the auspices of the Island Bay Property Agency, a branch of Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co.’s business. lAiring the sale the auctioneer announced that through the Island Bay avency the valuable property of Mr. W. G. JfacDonald, late president of the Board of Trade, had been sold. The whole of Mr. Mac Kay’s furniture was then disposed of at satisfactory prices.
